Regions Hospital orthopaedic physicians to co-chair 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships
HealthPartners selected as the official medical provider for the event
St. Paul, Minn., Orthopaedic physicians Peter Cole, M.D., and Ralph Bovard, M.D., have been selected to serve as the co-medical directors of the 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Jan. 20-27, 2008.
Dr. Cole is the chief of orthopaedics for Regions and the HealthPartners Medical Group, and Dr. Bovard is the lead physician for primary care orthopaedics for the HealthPartners Medical Group. In addition, physicians from both HealthPartners and Regions will work onsite at the Xcel Energy Center to provide medical care for skaters during the event.
HealthPartners has been selected as the official medical provider for the annual championship, which crowns U.S. champions in novice, junior and senior levels including ladies, men's, pairs and ice dancing events.
