Chaplains
Chaplains can help you and your family draw upon
spiritual resources for strength and meaning. They help
people from all faith traditions and practices. As part
of the health care team, chaplains provide spiritual and
emotional support, comfort, and guidance. They can also
help you deal with your problems, especially if you have
a great deal of emotional and spiritual distress. Having
someone to listen to you and care about you can help
you feel better. There is also a priest available to provide
support, blessings, and sacraments to Catholic patients
and family members.
A chaplain is in the hospital from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm
Monday through Friday. There is a chaplain on call at all
other times for emergency requests. If you want to speak
with a chaplain or the Catholic priest, please ask your
nurse to contact the chaplaincy department.
Chapel
The Chapel of the Divine Healer is available for prayer and
meditation 24-hours a day. The chapel is located on the second
floor of the main building. The chapel is a healing
place available for people of all religious faiths and
spiritual traditions. Security staff will unlock the
chapel door after hours for patient and family use upon
request. Daily Roman Catholic Mass is held in the chapel.
