Senator Tony Lourey honored at "Friends of EMS" recognition program at Regions Hospital

St. Paul, Minn. - Senator Tony Lourey was honored by the "Friends of EMS" recognition program at Regions Hospital for his support, leadership and dedication to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) field. Sen. Lourey received a plaque for his support of EMS, and had the opportunity to speak to those in attendance, which included EMS providers from throughout the Twin Cities.

The "Friends of EMS"recognition program - in its fifth year - has become part of Regions' annual rig wash and BBQ event each spring where EMS providers throughout the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin communities are thanked for the lifesaving efforts they make 24 hours a day throughout the year. This year marked the 16th annual rig wash and BBQ event.
