Breakthrough Treatment for Heart Rhythm Disease Patients
HealthPartners Medical Group Surgeons are pioneering use of a new treatment, called mini-maze, to provide relief, and potentially a cure, to atrial fibrillation (AF) sufferers. AF causes the upper chambers of the heart to pump irregularly, resulting in potential blood clots and stroke if the clot leaves the heart.
