Free Seminar on how to change your life to prevent cancer

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – HealthPartners and Survivors' Training are hosting a free seminar featuring David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD on Sept. 24, 2008. The seminar, based on his new international bestseller Anticancer, A New Way of Life, discusses what makes cancer cells thrive and how to harness the body's natural defenses against them.
The seminar will take place Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Minneapolis. The presentation will include how to develop an anticancer diet, how and why stress feeds cancer and how to blend conventional and evidence-based complimentary therapies to fight and prevent cancer.
Author, Dr. David Servan-Schreiber is a two-time brain tumor survivor and was a research physician at the time of his diagnosis. In researching his own diagnosis, he learned about the latest, evidence-based science on complementary treatments for cancer, especially exercise and nutrition.
