Medical Staff Services
You will find a wealth of information and resources available to you at Regions Hospital. Exceptional physicians who are top in their field lead our renowned specialty programs. Regions Hospital has more than 1,300 medical staff and allied health practitioners on staff.

Medical Staff Services manages credentialing and privileging for all the clinical sites within Regions Hospital and clinics. Licensed independent providers are credentialed through a rigorous process. All contracted and/or employed physicians providing services at Regions Hospital must be credentialed. Doctors of medicine and osteopathy, podiatry and dentistry are eligible for medical staff membership. Physician assistants, advance practice nurses, psychologists and some other non-physician providers are granted privileges as Allied Health Practitioners.

Regions Hospital meets all federal, state and regulatory standards for credentialing and privileging.
