Who We Are
The Regions Hospital School of Ophthalmic Medical Technology was established in 1966 for the purpose of training ophthalmic allied health professionals. Our 21-month program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ophthalmic Medical Programs (CoA-OMP). We are the only ophthalmic medical technologist program in the region.
In addition to the acedemic program for ophthalmic medical technologists we conduct an annual continuing education program for ophthalmic medical personnel. This meeting draws registrants from throughout the Midwest. Since 1977, we have been recognized as a provider of quality continuing education courses for the ophthalmic allied health professional.
The 2011 meeting is May 13-15 at the Airport Hilton in Bloomington, MN.
