During your hospital stay, Financial Counselors from the Admitting Office can assist you. A counselor will help make financial arrangements.

Patient advocates are available for help with any problem, concern, complaint or suggestion about your care and service.

Patient Safety & Security
You have the right to expect reasonable safety with regard to the hospitals practices and environment while at Regions Hospital. You should note that all Regions Hospital staff members wear photo identification badges. To ensure your safety during your stay with us, we recommend the following:

• Ask to see the identification badge of any staff member who enters your room, if one is not visible.
• Wear your identification bracelet at all times during your stay.
• Ask for assistance when getting in and out of bed.
• Wear only shoes that have non-skid soles and that support your feet. (Backless slippers can be unsafe.)
• If you bring any outside medical/health care equipment into your room, the hospital's Biomed department must inspect and approve it for use in your room. Please ask your nurse for assistance.

Smoking
Smoking and the use of tobacco products is prohibited within or on Regions Hospital campus.

Videotaping
Videotaping by the media and external production companies may take place in our hospitals and other facilities. All individuals that are recognizable and who consent to filming (staff, patients, family members or friends) must sign a consent and release form before the videotape can be used. Please note that any agreement that you sign with an external party represents an agreement between you and the production company, not the hospital. Private videotaping in Labor & Delivery is allowed only at the discretion of your physician.
