Regions Hospital ultrasound receives accreditation and perfect score from reviewers
St. Paul, Minn., Jan. 30, 2006 - Regions Hospital was recently awarded a three-year term of accreditation in ultrasound by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ultrasound department, under the leadership of Patrick Sullivan, M.D., passed with a perfect score of 100 percent.

The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Board-certified physicians and medical physicists, who are experts in the field, conduct the evaluations. They assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of facility equipment.
