ST. PAUL, Minn. – Regions Hospital Foundation recently named five new members to its board of directors. They are Mark Baker, Michael Ciresi, Don Maietta, James Redpath and John Solberg.

Baker is president and chief executive officer of Gander Mountain, a position he has held since 2002. An avid outdoorsman, Baker's role as CEO allows him to combine his joy of hunting and fishing with his knowledge of the retail industry.

Ciresi serves as chairman of the executive board for the law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi and is well known for his work with the state tobacco lawsuit, which awarded $6 billion to the state of Minnesota. Maietta joined the company of Coldwell Banker Burnet in 1980 where, today, he is senior vice president overseeing the company's new construction and urban housing and lifestyles division. Active in real estate at the local, state and national levels, Maietta served on the Housing 5,000 Task Force, which implemented the plan to add 5,000 net housing units in St. Paul and $1 billion in housing stock investments over four years.

Redpath is the senior tax officer and serves on the board of directors for HLB Tautges Redpath, Ltd., where he specializes in business structuring, ownership succession and ESOP issues as well as corporate, partnership, individual and estate/gift tax planning and consulting both nationally and internationally.

Solberg joined Opus Northwest in 1997 and assumed the role of president and chief operating officer two years later; he was promoted to president and chief executive officer in 2000. Real estate development, construction, design and property management are among his responsibilities.
