4th Annual Lynnda Laubach Breast Cancer Awareness Ride

On January 25, 2005, Lynnda Laubach got the news everyone fears: She had cancer. Specifically she had infiltrating ductal carcinoma, a type of breast cancer. Lynnda underwent a rigorous treatment regimen that included surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Her treatments were finally completed months later, shortly before Thanksgiving 2005. Laubach emerged from the ordeal thankful to be alive and somewhat a changed woman. Her experience also left her with a passion to help other women facing breast cancer.

On Saturday, September 20, 2008, Lynnda will participate in a motorcycle ride that bears her name. The 4th Annual Lynnda Laubach Breast Cancer Awareness Ride will cover a 100-mile course starting at Zylstra Harley-Davidson in Elk River and ending at Broadway Bar and Pizza in Rogers, MN. Proceeds from the biking event benefit the Regions Hospital Breast Health Center, where Lynnda received her treatment. The money raised will assist women experiencing hard times during their breast cancer treatments.

The 2007 ride drew over 370 bikes and over 500 participants, which raised an estimated $40,000 for the Breast Health Center. Please join us in making the 2008 ride a huge success!
