Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Institute Awarded Three-year CARF Accreditation
St. Paul, Minnesota, October 8, 2008 - CARF International announced that Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Institute has been awarded the highest level of accreditation for it's hospital -based Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program for adults. The latest accreditation is the sixth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that CARF has awarded to Regions Hospital, and the first accreditation under the new Stroke Specialty Program. This accreditation shows not only the organization's commitment, but also the interdisciplinary team's commitment to best care and experience for all patients receiving rehabilitation services. An organization receiving CARF accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of CARF surveyors during an on-site visit that it's rehabilitation programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.

In 1965, the Rehabilitation Institute moved to it's present location on the Regions Hospital campus at 640 Jackson Street, St. Paul.
