Assurance of Quality 2007 Outcome Data Outcomes and results indicate an inpatient rehabilitation program's quality. At the Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Institute, we look at several measures of quality to help us understand how well we are doing. We carefully measure patient improvements and contract with the nationally respected Uniform Data System (UDS) to evaluate our program outcomes. ![]() Functional Improvement In many cases, patient can expect their average functional improvement to meet or exceed the regional and national norms. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Length of Stay Efficiency Length of Stay Effieciency is the average improvemet made each day a patient participates in rehabilitation. On average, our patients with the following diagnoses improve more during their stay with us than do patients in other rehab programs in our region and across the nation. ![]() Patient Satisfaction Our patient's opions of their care are one of our most important outcome measures. In 2007, we used a national satisfaction survey (Picker) to obatin patient satisfaction ratings. This data helps us to understand the needs of those we serve and drives improvement in our policies and procedures.
