  | EMS Education
Education has always been the hallmark of the Regions Hospital EMS program. Since 1972, when St. Paul Fire and Safety Services looked to us to train their firefighters as paramedics, thousands have walked through our doors for emergency care education.
Power Tools for the Street
Regions Hospital has been the principal provider of prehospital education in Eastern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin for over 28 years. Due to the advancing scope of practice of the prehospital provider, our education division has evolved rapidly. From intubation advancements to current use of RSI, paramedics are becoming proficient at skills once only reserved for the physician. Regions remains on the cutting edge of prehospital medicine through continuous research efforts and physician involvement. All centers on the belief that critical care begins in the street. And education is one of our most powerful tools to influence the care our communities' citizens receive.
EMS Education also provides EMS instruction for nurses, physicians and other health professionals. Courses are offered at various times and locations to meet the needs of our customers.
