Regions Hospital is proud to offer the Skylight Nuclear Gamma Camera to our patients. There are only 30 of these sophisticated cameras in the country. It is an open camera that provides greater versatility than traditional nuclear imaging cameras. The camera's unique design allows for greater customization of views for imaging. Because of the open, patient-friendly design, it is an excellent option for children and claustrophobic patients. The Skylight Camera can also accommodate patients who weigh up to 500 pounds.
