June 14, 2005 Regions Hospital honors friends of Emergency Medical Services Carol Pool's commitment and dedication are key to EMS success St. Paul, Minn., -- Carol Pool was one of four individuals recognized at the Regions Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) annual rig wash on May 17 during National Emergency Medical Services Week. Pool, who serves as director of the Unity Area Ambulance Service, was honored for her commitment and dedication to EMS over the years. "Carol is a natural leader. She is smart, engaging, politically active and cares about the patients she serves, which shows in her work," says Joe Jensen, EMS coordinator for Regions Hospital.
