ResQ Trial CPR Study
ResQPump smRegions Hospital Emergency Medical Services and the St. Paul Fire Department will bein studying two investigational devices used during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in September 2005. The devices are called the ResQPump and the ResQPod. Their main function is to increase the amount of blood circulated during CPR, which has been shown in previous animal and human studies to affect survival rates.
