Sept. 23, 2005. HealthPartners Medical Group Hires Rajal Mody, M.D. to Practice at Regions Hospital St. Paul, Minn. Rajal Mody, M.D., will join the HealthPartners Medical Group and begin working at Regions Hospital as a doctor of internal medicine and pediatrics in September. Dr. Mody earned a bachelor's degree with honors and distinction in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before earning a Doctor of Medicine degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine and pediatrics internship at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and then moved to the Twin Cities where he is currently completing an internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Mody is licensed in Minnesota and is certified in cardiac, pediatric and neonatal life support. Besides having an extensive list of research on HIV and other issues relating to immunity, Dr. Mody speaks Spanish and has embarked on medical expeditions to Central and South America.
