"What I enjoy most about my role is the dynamic balance of administrative, operations and patient care work on an average day. It's a lot of fun to attend meetings in which nursing has a voice at the table for facility and departmental changes and decisions. It's also good to be working on the floor to observe how the flow and processes work. One of the things I appreciate most is working with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, emergency room techs, social workers, physicians, medics and physician assistants. I'm reminded daily of the excellent crew we have at Regions."
