We Welcome New Grad Nurses!
New Grad Program for Nurses
The transition from school to career can cause many new graduates anxiety. However, at Regions Hospital, we do our best to make you feel comfortable in your new position. After completing Central Nursing Orientation and beginning orientation on your assigned unit with your Primary Preceptor, you will reconvene with fellow new grads to develop your skills in practical areas such as prioritizing and time management, delegation and clinical skill reviews. These three days of class allow you to share your orientation experiences with other new grads and gain confidence in your role as a new nurse. All new graduate nurses will also be partnered with an experienced mentor who will be available for guidance and support throughout the orientation experience.
