Regions Quality & Satisfaction Scores

Its now easier than ever to search for and compare hospitals across the country. The federal government website, www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov, reports data based on several key measures, including patient satisfaction (percentage of patients who always received help when they requested it) and quality (percentage of patients receiving an antibiotic one hour before surgery). Here's a look at how Regions compares with some hospitals in the east metro.

Other national quality rating organizations have also recognized Regions Hospital recently. In addition to a five-star rating in the 2008 HealthGrades Hospital Quality in America Study, Regions was also named as one of the nation's top 100 cardiovascular hospitals by Thomson Healthcare. The Joint Commission also reports Regions Hospital as a top performer across the country in several key heart care measures.
