Regions Hospital Hosts 16th Annual Rig Wash National Emergency Medical Services Week is May 18-24
Regions Hospital Thanks Those Who Save Lives "Friends of EMS" Honored in Recognition Program

St. Paul, Minn., - Physicians and nurses along with EMS and emergency department members will wash ambulances and other emergency vehicles during the 16th Annual Rig Wash and BBQ event to recognize those whose lifesaving efforts make a difference in the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin communities.

The event also includes "Friends of EMS" - a recognition program honoring people for excellence in their work. One of this year's honorees includes the Oakdale Fire Department for their quick action in saving the life of a heart attack patient. The patient will be at the event to reunite with members of the crew who saved her life.
