 | Community Involvement
Regions Hospital and Regions Hospital Foundation strive to be active and valuable members of our local, state and regional communities. We have sponsored and supported numerous events and programs throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. For example:
- Our staff offers ENCARE, Think First and Traumaroo educational programs to schools around the area in order to reduce preventable injuries among children and young adults
- We have created a school re-entry program to help children affected by burns
- We provide neo-natal car seats to parents of babies born at the hospital
- We provide a variety of educational and support groups for cancer patients and their loved ones
- We are participating in a national CPR study in conjunction with the St. Paul Fire Department
- We hosted a news conference promoting a safe and sober Memorial Day weekend
- We celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Center for International Health at Regions Hospital
- We were named the Best Minnesota Hospital Workplace by the Minnesota Hospital Association
