 | Inpatient Rehabilitation
We care for patients who have had an injury or illness and need rehabilitation to recover. Our staff helps patients become as independent as possible in activities such as eating, dressing, bathing, speaking, walking or wheelchair use. Our mission is to provide compassionate and integrated rehabilitation services that are individualized to each patient's needs and values.
Experienced Care
We use a team approach and consider patients and their families to be important members of the team. Working together, we develop a treatment plan that is unique and designed to meet each patient's special needs.
Our staff specializes in working with people who have had strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, multiple trauma and spasticity disorders. Our team of experts include rehabilitation doctors, nurses, a chaplain, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, social workers, rehabilitation psychologists, recreational and pool therapists, and dietitians.
We focus on helping patients return to their home and community, as well as work or school. Each individual treatment program is designed to address a patient's unique medical, physical, cognitive, behavioral, social and vocational needs. Our rehabilitation outcomes are among the best in the Midwest and nation.
Throughout a patient's participation in the program, the care team provides ongoing communication with the family and the primary care physician.
