Visiting hours

Visitors are welcome daily 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. We are not able to accommodate overnight guests. A list of local hotels is available upon request. Capitol View patient visitors will receive free parking in the Regions West Parking Ramp only (located on Jackson Street, close to the corner of University Avenue). You can also order flowers or gifts through the Bright Corner Gift Shop.

Access to transitional care services

Most insurers (but not all) require a minimum of a three day hospital stay before they will pay for transitional care services. Your hospital care team will determine if the rehabilitation services offered by Capitol View Transitional Care Center will be necessary for you. If such services are needed, a hospital social worker or case manager will discuss this option with you and will contact our admissions department to start the process for transfer to us.

Insurance information

Our transitional care services are generally covered if you have one of the following insurance plans: Medicare, MSHO, HealthPartners, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Preferred One, United Health Care, and Medica. We also accept most auto, worker's compensation, private insurance plans, and self-pay. Currently we are unable to accept UCare and Medical Assistance (MA) unless it is part of an MSHO plan. Before your arrival we obtain prior authorization from your insurance plan to ensure your stay will be covered.
