In order to publicly thank Regions Hospital Foundation’s donors, we have installed the “Circle of Community” display across from the main elevators near the hospital’s main entrance. The display includes “Circle of Healing”, a beautiful fused-glass art piece which metaphorically illustrates the central roll donors play in the health and vitality of both Regions and the community. Stop by to view this piece and the rest of our collection of healing art throughout the hospital.
Donors of $100 and above are recognized in Regions Hospital Foundation’s annual report, while the Heritage Society recognizes individuals who have included the Foundation in their estates.
A donor recognition event is held annually to honor those who have given $1,000 or above the previous year, those who have contributed for five years or more consecutively and members of the Heritage Society.
During the summer of 2009, Regions Hospital Foundation unveiled an additional donor wall to recognize contributors to its capital campaign to expand the Emergency Center.
The new capital campaign donor wall was named after Allen McNee and his wife, Casey Quinn.
The new main lobby in the expanded hospital was named after 3M to commemorate its gift to the capital campaign.
The new Emergency Center triage area was named after Dick and Mary Brainerd to commemorate their contribution to the capital campaign.
