Laboratory tests help identify and keep track of many medical conditions. Most lab tests are done early in the morning so results can be available for the doctor during the day. Some tests, for a correct reading, require that you do not eat before the test.
The Regions Pathology Laboratory is accredited by both the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for forensic urine drug testing and The Joint Commission. For concerns about quality patient testing or patient safety that are not being addressed, please contact The Joint Commission at 800-994-6610 (toll free). For concerns about forensic urine drug testing, contact the College of American Pathologists at 866-323-4040 (toll free). Your identity will be strictly confidential.
