Gwendolyn M. Hunter, DNP-F
- Practicing Department: Neurosurgery
- Nurse Practitioner
My name is Wendy Hunter. I am a family nurse practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I have practiced for over eleven years in different areas: Urology, Continence Management / OBGYN, Bariatrics ,Ortho Spine/Trauma, and Neurosurgery. I enjoy all the diversity with trauma and patient ages. I also enjoy helping my patients overcome and get back to life.
I grew up in a family of 10 and helping people was part of my life. Therefore I went into nursing to help. I became a nurse practitioner after several years as a floor nurse and I wanted to provide more care to my patients. I love to educate patients and work with them thru medical issues.
I have a wonderful husband and 3 exceptional little boys at home. I enjoy sending time with my family and just being a mom.
