I pursued orthopaedic surgery and subspecialty training in sports medicine to help people maintain the active lifestyle they desire. Having worked with athletes from the professional to recreational levels, I feel I bring and individual focused approach to returning patients to their activities through both surgical and non surgical options. As a former collegiate runner and now a recreational runner, I know how an active lifestyle can enhance one's quality of life. Whether an injury was sustained on the field or just in every day life, my goal is to help return the patient to their individual activity level. My surgical practice is centered around arthoscopy with special interests including knee ligament reconstructions, cartilage injury, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears and hip arthoscopy.
Personally, I enjoy being out on the lake whether that be fishing or just enjoying a Minnesota summer day. I also like skiing of all varieties and continue to run for general fitness.
