I was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. I graduated from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. Following this, I received my Medical Degree in 2003 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, during which I was inducted in to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. I then completed a Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2008 at New York University - Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York, New York. After this, I completed a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma in 2009 at the University of Minnesota - Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. I subsequently spent 2 years as a Staff Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden New Jersey, a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. I have specific interests in the areas of periarticular fractures, pelvic ring injuries, malunions, nonunions, osteomyelitis and general orthopaedic trauma. I currently reside in the East Metro area with my wife and family.
