Palliative care

Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses such as cancer, emphysema, congestive heart failure, kidney failure and Alzheimer’s. Care focuses on providing relief from symptoms, pain and stress.

The Regions Hospital Palliative Care Team includes doctors, nurse practitioners, social workers and chaplains. We partner with you, your family, your doctors and community providers to offer additional care and support.
