Emergency medical services
For more than 30 years, the experts at our Emergency Medicine Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) have been the vital link between the healthcare professionals delivering state-of-the-art emergency care in the streets and the hospital emergency departments.
Regions Hospital EMS provides medical oversight for:
- More than 35 ambulance services and EMS agencies in the Twin Cities East Metro area and western Wisconsin.
- More than 1,300 first responders, EMTs, paramedics and nurses.
We also offer education classes to healthcare professionals from the EMS, law enforcement, fire, business/industry and clinical settings. Dozens of emergency courses are taught by experienced instructors who bring their EMS field and emergency department experience to the classroom.
