One in three adults has cardiovascular disease. Heart disease doesn’t just affect the elderly or men. People of every age and stage in life need to be concerned with their heart health. Common heart disease risk factors include:
- Genetics (family history of heart disease)

- Being overweight
- Physical inactivity
- High blood pressure
- High blood cholesterol
- Diabetes
- Unhealthy diet
- Stress
- Older age (55+)
