Admission criteria

To qualify for our inpatient rehabilitation program, a person must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have a physically disabling illness or injury from which he or she can be expected to become significantly more independent with rehabilitation nursing and therapies
  • Be medically stable enough to participate in therapies
  • Need daily care by a rehabilitation doctor and 24-hour rehabilitation nursing and need at least two therapies (occupational, physical or speech therapy)
  • Be able to tolerate or advance to three hours of daily therapy
