Foot orthotics

Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Institute offers physical therapy services to address a variety of orthopaedic conditions through custom foot orthotics. Custom foot orthotics can be used as part of treatment to correct structural misalignment, to assist in improving posture, for pain relief, injury prevention, and to adjust to changes that might occur after an injury.

Our specially trained physical therapists will assess:

  • Alignment
  • Walking mechanics
  • Standing posture
  • Range of motion
  • Joint mobility
  • Strength
  • Movement patterns
  • Stability

We then use this information to create a custom foot orthotic designed specifically for you and your primary complaint. Our goals are to get you back to pre-injury condition, to prevent future injury and to optimize function.

Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Institute works closely with your care provider to coordinate all of your care.
