Stroke support group

Started in 2003, this free monthly meeting of stroke survivors and their care partners helps participants address problems of social isolation and barriers to community reentry. Meetings are facilitated by therapists from the Rehabilitation Institute and are open to all. Periodically, experts from medical and rehabilitation fields are invited to give presentations on topics of interest. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 4–5:30 p.m. in the Articella Conference room adjacent to the medical library.
