Caring for our community
Improving care and improving lives.
Committed to serving our community
We’ve provided high quality care to patients – of all backgrounds and income levels – for more than 140 years. Regions is one of three Minnesota hospitals that’s a Level 1 Trauma Center for both adults and children. That means we’re here 24/7 to respond to emergencies and protect your health and safety.
But it’s not enough just to provide care. We continually work to identify community needs and expand our medical knowledge, so we can offer the most advanced medical services and programs.
Community Health Needs Assessment
As part of the Affordable Care Act, non-profit hospitals complete a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years.
In 2015, we were part of a comprehensive, six-step CHNA that included all the hospitals in the HealthPartners system. Conducted by Community Hospital Consulting, the assessment analyzed health data and got input from community members to identify the biggest needs.
Those needs, in priority order, were:
- Mental and behavioral health
- Access and affordability
- Chronic disease and illness prevention
- Equitable care
View the details of our CHNA, and see our plan for addressing these needs over the next few years:
