Amanda E.L. Mairs, PA-C
- Practicing Department: Cardiology
- Physician Assistant
I am originally from Rochester, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree. I completed my master's degree in physician assistant studies from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Virginia, and I am pleased to be back in Minnesota. I am also board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
As a physician assistant, I enjoy cardiology and the variety it offers. My professional interests include valvular heart disease and heart failure. Patient education is very important to me, and I strive to provide my patients with a better understanding of their disease and the best treatment options. I believe that we can achieve the best outcomes by discussing patients' health goals and making care decisions together.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies include traveling, running, boating, Pinterest crafts and being outdoors.
