Therapy is a time and space for a person to improve their well-being through self-reflection and healing. I practice a collaborative therapeutic approach by using cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy and more. I encourage each person to take the lead in their own healing journey as I guide and support them through it. I do this by listening nonjudgmentally, asking questions and building on personal strengths. Providing a culturally relevant therapeutic experience is also a priority to me. I strive to understand each person within the context of their family, community and culture while honoring the identities each person holds. I work with individuals, ages four to 21, and their families. I am experienced working with people who have experienced trauma, grief and loss, difficult life transitions, low self-worth, anxiety and depression. I specialize in working with people of color, LGBTQIA+ folks and children who have experienced trauma.

When I'm not working, I enjoy creating collages, laughing with friends and spending time outside with my wife.
