I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I became a psychologist because I enjoy assisting patients with their mental health needs and helping them improve. I provide diagnostic assessments as well as individual and family therapy with adults; although not marital therapy. I also provide psychological evaluations to adults. While I treat a wide variety of mental health issues, I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and providing ADHD assessments for adults and children. My treatment approach is based largely on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) but also incorporates psychodynamic therapy, insight-oriented therapy, relaxation techniques, mindfulness meditation and supportive therapy. I believe an important aspect of a patient's treatment is to really feel heard and understood. I also believe treatment is a collaboration between the provider and the patient.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising, reading and (when possible) traveling. I also keep busy as a den leader for Cub Scouts.
