Margaret W. Doose, MD
- Practicing Specialty: Internal Medicine/Pediatrics (Hospitalist)
I enjoy hospital medicine and pediatrics because it allows me to form important patient-physician relationships. My position gives me the opportunity to help patients and their families navigate the often unchartered territory of a hospitalization. Whether it's a new diagnosis, an exacerbation of an old diagnosis or something totally different, I strive to make every interaction count.
I majored in political science at Davidson College in North Carolina and then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I completed my internal medicine and pediatrics residency training at the University of Minnesota. Now I practice in St. Paul as a hospitalist - both at Regions Hospital and at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our son. We moved to Minnesota in 2011 and are still finding lots of new places to explore in this great state.
I am a member of the following professional associations:
*American College of Physicians (ACP)
*American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
*Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM)
- Medical School: University of Arkansas at Little Rock 2011
- Residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics: University of Minnesota 2015
