Amy E. Stoesz, MD
- Practicing Specialty: Emergency Medicine
I enjoy being an emergency medicine provider and work well in the fast-paced environment. I typically see people when something has gone wrong and consider it an honor to provide care to get them on the road to recovery. I went into medicine to help those who need care and don't have any other means for help. In emergency medicine, we help everyone with no question of insurance coverage or other circumstances.
International mission trips are a passion of mine and I have enjoyed trips to Nicaragua, Bolivia, Mumbai, Haiti and other parts of the world where they have a need I can help fill. Being a doctor opens doors that wouldn't necessarily be opened otherwise and my work with HealthPartners gives me the opportunity to further my passion in that area.
In my free time, I enjoy travel and the outdoors. I also like reading and movies, and I paint as a means of stress relief.
I am a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations (CMDA).
