Specialty breast center in St. Paul, Minnesota

When you notice a lump or if one of our radiologists finds something that could be worrisome on a mammogram, the team at Regions Hospital Breast Health Center is here to help. As a leading breast center in Saint Paul, we offer the latest in preventive, diagnostic and specialty care for all breast concerns.

Our breast center is designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for outstanding patient care. As part of Regions Hospital, our radiologists, technologists, nurses and nurse practitioner can collaborate with oncologists, surgeons and breast specialists under the same roof.

No matter what you need, our team at Regions Breast Health Center will create a personalized treatment plan for you that may include a range of treatment options. We may recommend surgery, chemotherapy or radiation depending on your specific condition. If you need surgery, we’ll schedule it with one of our experienced breast surgeons. You’ll meet with a surgeon at our breast center within a week.

At our breast care and diagnostic center, we work directly with onsite cancer care specialists to get you the best treatment possible. After a cancer diagnosis, we will connect you with an oncologist for a follow-up appointment as quickly as possible so you can create a care plan and begin treatment. You’re always part of the decision-making process and can get care close to home.

We also work closely with plastic surgeons, who will be a part of your care team if you need reconstructive surgery.

Regardless of your treatment, our breast center team will guide you through the process. Our radiologists, technologists, nurses and nurse practitioner will help you navigate your care, from appointment scheduling to treatment and follow-up support.

High-risk evaluation

If you’re at an increased risk for breast cancer, we may recommend a formal high-risk evaluation. This evaluation was designed for people who have a family history of breast cancer or have other risk factors that increase their likelihood of developing breast cancer.

We’ll talk with you about your personal and family medical history to evaluate your risk. We’ll use this information to create a personalized care plan which may include more frequent screenings, personalized genetic testing and advanced preventive care options.
